Program Benefits

  • Your MSU Library Community Borrowers card will be created the first time you visit the library. You can borrow up to 25 items at a time on your account.

    You will also have access to databases from within the library, using the public computers across from the reference desk on 1 East; unless staff has Net IDs granted access to MSU Libraries' online resources, you will not have remote access.   • To use services at IM facilities, you must first create an account online. All users of IM facilities at MSU pay a membership fee, at either daily, weekly, monthly or semester rates.

    IM Sports East Fitness Center is located at 804 E. Shaw Lane, East Lansing, between East Shaw Land and Wilson Road on the east side of campus. No guests or children are allowed at this facility.

    IM West Fitness Center is located at 393 Chestnut Road, East Lansing, next to Spartan Stadium.

    You can use the MSU Affiliate ID card at the Tennis Courts and Forest Akers Golf Course for a discount. This incentive is only for the ID cardholder.

    The MSU Affiliate ID cannot be used to purchase sporting event tickets.

How To Get Your Affiliate ID

If you or your employer are a MSU Research Foundation portfolio company, incubator tenant, or other strategic partner, unlocking your MSU Affiliate Program benefits is as easy as 1-2-3. Just follow this simple process to receive your MSU Affiliate Card:

STEP 1: REQUEST

Complete this form to begin the Affiliate ID request process.

STEP 2: APPROVE

You will receive an approval email from the MSU Research Foundation team.

Take the email information to Room 170 in the MSU International Building (427 N Shaw Lane) on a weekday between 8:00AM and 4:45PM to get your MSU Affiliate ID card.

The card costs $10 (unless specified otherwise).

Please ensure the card has a number sequence on the back.

STEP 3: ACTIVATE

Scan both sides of the card and submit through the form below. You will receive an email confirming when your card has been activated, allowing access to facilities and other benefits.
