Jamie Binger

Finance Coordinator

Jamie joined the MSU Research Foundation as an Administrative Assistant in 2005 and has served as the Finance Coordinator since 2017. Her responsibilities have included overseeing donor planned gifts and managing the Charitable Gift Annuity program in collaboration with MSU Office of Gift Planning within University Advancement. Jamie handles approximately 320 annuities and oversees a diversified investment portfolio valued at over $352 million.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Jamie dedicated over two decades of service to Michigan State University, with roles in the Clinical Center Billing Office, Mathematics, and MSU Technologies. With a combined 30 years’ experience supporting the MSU community, Jamie remains an essential member of the Foundation team.

Jamie is a lifelong resident of the East Lansing area, having graduated from East Lansing Public Schools and pursued business studies at Lansing Community College. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, watching sports, and working on her dream home with her husband of 30 years (currently on their third house!).
