Honorable Renee Knake Jefferson

Hon. Renee Knake Jefferson is a law professor and legal ethics expert. She served on the Michigan State University College of Law faculty for a decade and currently holds an endowed chair as a tenured faculty member at the University of Houston. She is also a Trustee at Michigan State University. Before becoming a professor, Jefferson practiced law at the international firms Mayer Brown and Hunton & Williams and as an assistant city attorney for Charlottesville, Virginia. She licensed to practice in Michigan, Illinois (inactive), and Virginia (inactive). Jefferson received her Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School.
